Chef Gerald Hirigoyen has a stand-out macaroni with mushrooms, wonderful mussels, and perfectly cooked steak. The wine list is small but well matched to the menu.
Stop in Fringale for a bistro that concentrates on a country French cuisine. Expect the average entrée to cost $12 to $20, and guests are quite appropriate when dressed casual, but fashionable.
